And a Mele Kalikimaka to you. Big mahalos to you on on the 9th Island (that’s what we call Vegas here). My wife tracked down this blog and your subsequent advice on tracking down the Titan de Bronze Redemption online. And what appeared to my surprise on Christmas morn? O a beautifully humidified 5-pack of Redemption robustos. Gotta admit, my wife’s crafty- I didn’t see it coming.
Fast forward to Christmas night. It’s around 10 pm, most of the neighborhood asleep, gusty tradewinds coming from the east, a comfortable 70 (or so) degrees outside and me, between thumb and forefinger in one hand Redemption in the other a glass of Maker’s on the rocks. Oh Merry Christmas indeed. I let it smoke slow and even, over the better part of an hour. I tried to resist the urge to take to the nub, but could not. So there we went, until ultimately I had to put Redemption to rest before becoming a short nub as she let off enough of a hit towards the finish. A well blended and beautifully crafted smoke. And a great finish to a day of giving thanks and feeling grateful. Thanks for the great reviews you guys!
Aloha.
Merry Christmas guys. I’ve been following your blog for over a year now and i really appreciate all the outstanding work you’ve put in. This is a great cigar resource for us cigar lovers.
Thanks guys! And nice little review there Palmero — a sweet gift too. High five the wife for me. And from now on it’s the 9th Island — no more “Vegas” for me! That’s great.
